We are making full use of our playgrounds. Our students have been participating and doing well in local / district level / state level tournaments. The expense incurred for participating in these tournaments is borne by the school.

     

Basketball :
Meghana Menon Captain of the school basketball team has led the Maharashtra State Girls Basket Ball
Team on 3 ocassions. She has been selected for the India Team.
Poorvi Kulkarni has been the Maharashtra State Girls Basket Ball Team Captain on 2 ocassions.
The other prominent state level players [some of them now represent their colleges] are:
Kirti Pandit, Rucha Marathe, Geeta Gole, Veda Choudhary, Mrunmayi Koparkar, Shruti Pai

Chess :
Prasanna Rao has been in the news for winning the School Chess Championship in England. He has 
previously made headlines when he became the first competitor to have won all the games in any
Bournvita Inter School Chess Tournament and was been invited to participate in the Commonwealth
Chess Championship, even though he was ‘under age’.

Gymnastics :
State level players are Chaitali Mehta, Avani Tambvekar

Swimming :
Our students are taking swimming as a fish takes to water! We have a galaxy of stars who have reached
State / National level. 
Arjun Shetty [now a professional underwater scuba diver], Gopalkrishna Vignesh,
Himanshu & Rishikesh Adhikari, Rohan Dixit, Abhishek Paranjape, P. Gayatri,
Anushree Kulkarni, Jankhana Pasad.

Vinit Ghule, Omkar Kulkarni & Rasika Phansalkar have successfully undertaken the Dharamtar to 
Gateway of India swim. Rasika did this when she was in 4th std.
